Marriage of a HomeSchool Family: Rocks and Sand
Each Catholic marriage is built on THE Rock. The solid arms of Our Lord and His Church. For a marriage to be joy-filled and continually fruitful, there are priorities to attend to. The homeschooling marriage has some unique blessings and challenges. Mike and Sharon have been blessed to homeschool their six children and will share some insights and encouragement from their own journey…including how we too have ended up stuck in the sand from time to time, how adjustments get made, and how Christ remained faithful through it all.

Plan for Peace: Building Habits and Systems to Create a Peaceful Homeschool
Your primary mission is to serve God by faithfully living out your vocation as a wife, mother, and homemaker. Homeschooling success relies on clear expectations, flexible planning, consistent routines, and shared learning where possible. Automating tasks, using planners, and outsourcing when needed can lighten the load and empower kids to work more independently. Managing the home efficiently through meal planning, chore systems, and regular tidy routines helps maintain peace and order. When things feel off, step back, assess the root issue, prioritize relationships, and remember that growing in virtue—not perfection—is the ultimate goal.
